Granola, an AI-powered meeting and note-taking platform, has raised $125 million in a Series C funding round, valuing the company at $1.5 billion. The round was led by Index Ventures with participation from Kleiner Perkins and existing investors Lightspeed, Spark, and NFDG.
The company's core proposition is transforming conversational data, from meetings and calls, into actionable company context. This strategy aims to unlock new workflows previously unachievable with traditional documentation methods.
Granola is rolling out several new features to facilitate this. 'Spaces' offers organized and permission-controlled environments for team notes, with enhanced folder structures and filtering options. Granola Chat, integrated within Spaces, utilizes leading AI models like Claude, GPT, and Gemini to answer questions based on captured conversations.
