Newsroom

Editorial standards

StartupHub.ai is an AI newsroom. We publish research analysis, lab and model coverage, and product reviews. The startup directory is how we ground those pieces, not a substitute for them. This page is the public rulebook.

Who writes

News and research recaps carry a named person. Daniel Singer is the editor. House bylines are for masthead notes, not for talk recaps or paper coverage. Guest pieces go through Write for Us.

What we publish

  • Research and debate recaps written from the full source, not a title or abstract.
  • Lab, model, and product news with a claim a reader can check.
  • Reviews and comparisons that use our scores and community ratings when we have them.
  • Funding and M&A only when a news article, press release, or filing announced that raise.

We do not treat competing company databases as a source. Empty is honest.

How a talk or paper is covered

A 90-minute debate is a long recap, not a digest. Names, clocks, and model versions stay as the speakers said them. We do not invent quotes, scores, or a test we did not run. We do not paste a search phrase into the first sentence.

Ads and newswire

Paid distribution is the newswire. Those posts are labeled. A sponsor does not pick the newsroom agenda or the ranking of a review. Affiliate links are disclosed.
