Hyderabad, India, July 22, 2026, Liquidnitro Games, fresh off a $19.1 million Series A round, has named Cedrick Collomb as Chief Technology Officer. Collomb, formerly CTO of Tencent Games Global and EA Mobile, signals Liquidnitro's aggressive pivot towards AI in game development, aiming to redefine game production and scaling.

The company's total funding now stands at $24.3 million. Liquidnitro has grown to over 140 developers in two years, projecting more than 200 by year-end.

Reframing AI in Gaming

Liquidnitro's strategy for agentic AI game production diverges from current market trends. While many AI tools promise cheap automation, Liquidnitro asserts AI should enhance human creativity, not replace it. This approach aims to empower developers to pursue bolder ideas and create deeper player experiences.

Collomb's mandate is clear: leverage AI and emerging technologies to amplify creative teams' capabilities. This distinction is crucial as publishers grapple with rising costs, fragmented markets, and the demands of live services.

Liquidnitro's proprietary platform, built over two years, underpins this vision. It features Geoplay, an AI-enabled agentic operating system, alongside Nitro Forge, Nitro Brain, and Nitro Blocks. This ecosystem fuses creative craft, live services game development expertise, and player intelligence into a self-learning system.

Sandeep Kowdley, Co-Founder and CEO of Liquidnitro Games, highlighted Collomb's role in advancing their ambition to build a world-leading games company through exceptional technology and platforms.

Collomb echoed this, stating, “Liquidnitro is a rare company where leadership genuinely understands that technology is a multiplier for game development.” He believes their AI solutions will transform the entire game lifecycle.

The company posits that future winning games will hinge less on raw production scale and more on rapid player signal interpretation, precise creative decisions, and continuous post-launch experience improvement. This is vital for publishers targeting the next billion players in high-growth regions like India, the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia.

With Collomb as CTO, Liquidnitro will intensify investments in its platform, particularly Geoplay and the deeper integration of agentic AI workflows. The objective is to make game production, live services, and global expansion more predictable and profitable, while granting teams greater creative freedom.
