Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

The TI BLVD Gas Plant maintenance technician is responsible for the upkeep of mechanical equipment at the plant facility including compressors, turbines, pumps, cooling towers, etc including troubleshooting, repair, testing, project management, and preventative maintenance.
Safety & Compliance
Champion a culture of safety by working toward zero personal first aids or injuries.
Ensure full compliance with Air Liquide Policies and Procedures, including Safe Work Permits, LOTOs, and confined space safety.
Maintain a pristine work environment and manage site waste and hazardous material programs (with provided SELT and DOT training).
Operations & Maintenance
Drive the reliability of our facility by overseeing the upkeep of mechanical equipment, including compressors, turbines, pumps, and cooling towers.
Optimize plant performance through expert troubleshooting and the implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
Maintain mechanical integrity by dismantling machinery and removing or replacing defective parts with precision.
Modernize our preventative maintenance program for critical assets like pressure safety valves, utilizing our CMMS for meticulous record-keeping.
Collaborate across disciplines to assist other maintenance crafts, fostering a unified team approach to facility success.
Project Management & Resource Ownership
Lead mechanical projects from initial scoping to final implementation, including bidding, scheduling, and contractor quality oversight.
Take ownership of our mechanical spare parts program to ensure operational readiness.
Empower onsite contractors and vendors by guiding their activities to align with our high standards.

Are you a MATCH?
Requirements
HS Diploma or equivalent required
Familiar with pipefitter and millwright terminology and technical knowledge of materials such as gaskets, fittings, and piping.
5+ yrs experience of industrial plant maintenance
Familiar with rotating machinery including compressors, pumps, and turbines.
Familiar with safe work practices, procedures, and other safety requirements
Ability to understand and comply with the established Quality System and to report any quality deficiencies
Ability to understand and comply with all safety regulations and guidelines while on company and/or customer property
Expertise in operation of the following equipment - Forklift and JLG
Ability to work callouts, nights, weekends, & possible holidays.
Has full range of motion and ability to lift 50 lbs.
Willingness to assist other sites within US at least 2 weeks per year
Able to climb ladders and work off elevated platforms/surfaces.
Able to work in a non-conditioned environment for extended periods.
Able to enter confined spaces for inspection, testing and work.
Able to wear appropriate PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, FRC, and steel toed shoes.
