Keel is a Manchester-based Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform that provides fintech companies with the infrastructure to launch and scale financial products. Originally founded as a consumer neobank called Frost, Keel pivoted to focus on fintech infrastructure after achieving profitability. Their platform offers multi-currency accounts, virtual accounts, Visa card issuing (debit, prepaid, credit), open banking services, and access to various payment rails (Faster Payments, BACS, CHAPS, SEPA, SWIFT, ACH, Fedwire). The platform is delivered through a single API and includes integrated compliance tools like KYC, AML, fraud detection, and transaction monitoring. Keel aims to reduce operational complexity for fintechs by offering an integrated infrastructure model.
