Inforcer Ltd., a U.K.-based startup, raised $35 million in Series B funding. Dawn Capital LLP led the round, with Meritech Capital Partners LP also participating. This capital will advance Microsoft 365 security automation for managed service providers (MSPs).
Founded in 2021, Inforcer offers a policy automation and compliance management platform. This platform specifically targets MSPs and managed security service providers working with Microsoft 365 environments. The company aims to simplify and centralize securing and managing multiple Microsoft 365 tenants.
Enhancing Microsoft 365 Security Capabilities
Inforcer’s platform features a baseline policy engine. This engine allows MSPs to define custom or framework-based security standards. The system monitors these baselines for drift, flagging any deviation for immediate, automated remediation. Furthermore, Inforcer provides automated backup and restore capabilities for Microsoft 365 configurations. This includes nightly backups and audit logs, enabling quick reverts to known-good states.
Additionally, Inforcer offers compliance auditing and reporting services. These tools help MSPs demonstrate value to clients. The platform generates clear dashboards and reports, showing tenant alignment with defined security standards. This simplifies proving compliance to auditors and justifying managed cybersecurity services. Inforcer's specialized focus contrasts with broader MSP platforms like Datto or ConnectWise.
The new funding follows a previous $19 million Series A raise in October 2024. Evgenia Plotnikova, a general partner at Dawn Capital, joins Inforcer’s board as part of the Series B deal. This investment supports further development, including potential integration of artificial intelligence for enhanced security. Inforcer helps MSPs manage complex cloud security environments effectively.
