Job Description
The successful incumbent will be responsible for processing of the Section 14 transfers In and Out. The successful candidate will perform the end-to-end processes which includes providing a quote, drafting of Form H and J to enable submission to trustees for approval. In addition, apply for tax directives, communicate to Funds, intermediaries etc. The position offers many opportunities for personal growth.This position requires an individual with strong Section 14 transfer knowledge and Pension Fund administration and legislation.
SPECIFIC KEY RESULT AREAS:
- Applies Section 14 processes aligned to legislation.
- Drafting of Form H & J forms and submit to Trustees for approval.
- Submit forms to Transferor Funds.
- Apply for NIL tax directives and Recognition of transferor (ROT) to SARS.
- Payment to another Retirement Annuity Fund.
- Written and verbal communication to intermediaries and clients.
- Manage enquiries with stakeholders.
- Adheres to service and quality standards.
- Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal results.
- Ensure regulatory and legislative compliance.
- Delivers on daily production standards.
- Excellent daily planning and time management skills.

Role Qualifications:
- Matric
- SARAF Section 14 experience
- SARAF New Business processing experience an advantage.
- SARAF product knowledge an advantage.
- Knowledge of pension fund administration & legislation essential.
- Working knowledge of BPM AWD and OMUNET.
- High level of PC proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel).
- Strong customer focus, energetic and a team player.
- Keeping up with current developments and trends in area of expertise.
- Self-motivated and action orientated, with high levels of energy and self-confidence.
- Very strong analytical & logical reasoning skills.
- Makes recommendations based on concrete, well-defined information.
