Inflection AI, a startup offering enterprise-grade LLMs, announced the acquisition of BoostKPI and Jelled.ai to expand its capabilities in data analytics and workplace communication.

The acquisitions aim to enhance Inflection’s flagship platform, Inflection for Enterprise, which enables businesses to fine-tune advanced LLMs while maintaining full ownership and security (on-premise or private cloud deployments).

Their Agentic AI workflows feature, bolstered by a partnership with UiPath, addresses AI challenges such as hallucination and facilitates the deployment of trusted AI agents across enterprises.

BoostKPI brings its expertise in actionable data analytics to Inflection AI. Its AI Data Analyst tool will integrate with the Inflection for Enterprise system, enabling users to interact with their data in natural language.

Jelled.ai specializes in AI-enhanced workplace communication. By deploying digital twins to manage employee inboxes, Jelled.ai transforms email and Slack workflows into valuable sources of insights. Integrated into Inflection for Enterprise, their technology helps employees monitor critical trends like financials and sales updates.

Inflection AI has two proprietary LLMs. Pi (3.0) is tailored for emotionally intelligent and conversational applications, and Productivity (3.0), optimized for instruction-following tasks requiring precision and structure. Both models only support an 8k context window, while pricing is quite competitive with input tokens costing $2.5/million and output tokens priced at $10/million (on par with GPT4o).

The acquisitions follow their purchase of Boundaryless in October to support their push for rapid deployment of its AI agent capabilities within the enterprise.

Inflection AI raised $1.3 billion last year, led by Microsoft. Nine months later, they poached their two co-founders.

Intel has recently fueled them with some momentum through newly struck partnerships.
