Indeni, a provider of network infrastructure monitoring and automation, has been acquired by BlueCat Networks.
The financial details of the acquisition remain undisclosed and it's still subject to regulatory approval.
Indeni's platform helps network operations (NetOps) teams to maintain the health of their network appliances, including firewalls, load balancers, and secure web proxies. Its platform meticulously analyzes device configurations, metrics, and logs, flagging existing and potential issues using a global, crowd-sourced knowledge base. This enables it to identify and recommend automated remediation steps, benefitting users of network security products from companies like Check Point, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, and F5.
Founded in 2009 by 8200 alumni, Yonadav Leitersdorf, Ideni raised a total of $24 million over three funding rounds from investors including Sequoia Capital, Caremi Partners, CIRTech Fund, iAngels, RTP Ventures.
