Sola Security, a self-serve cybersecurity platform, has emerged from stealth with a $30 million seed round led by S Capital and veteran investor Mike Moritz. Additional backers include S32, Glilot Capital Partners, and several angel investors. Sola Security aims to streamline cybersecurity by eliminating complexity and cost barriers, allowing security teams to build and deploy custom solutions without requiring dedicated engineering resources.

Founded in 2024 by cybersecurity experts Guy Flechter and Ron Peled, Sola Security was created in response to the industry's reliance on fragmented, high-cost security tools. Organizations often juggle dozens of security products, each with its own interface, maintenance requirements, and pricing. This complexity disproportionately affects smaller teams and independent security professionals who lack the resources to manage extensive security stacks, leading to inefficiencies and security gaps.

Sola Security provides an AI-powered, no-code platform that allows businesses to build and customize security applications without technical expertise or excessive budgets. Users can select pre-built tools from the Sola App Gallery or create custom security solutions using the platform’s no-code development environment.

“Cybersecurity has become too complicated and expensive,” said Flechter, CEO and Co-Founder of Sola Security. “We’ve seen how platforms like Canva, Stripe, and Figma have revolutionized their respective industries by making advanced capabilities accessible to everyone. Security teams deserve the same ease of use. Sola Security enables organizations to create and deploy security solutions instantly—without the overhead, engineering burden, or high costs.”

“Sola Security isn’t just another security tool—it’s changing how security teams operate,” said Aya Peterburg, Co-founder and Managing Partner at S Capital. “By making security more accessible and adaptable, Sola is addressing an urgent industry need. With a strong team and a product that simplifies cybersecurity, we’re excited to support their mission.”

Investor Mike Moritz added, “Sola Security offers a bold and much-needed approach to cybersecurity. Its platform empowers developers to address security gaps more effectively. A decade from now, security professionals will look back and wonder how they managed without it.”
