The National Institute for Computational Sciences (NICS) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville is a leading high-performance computing center of excellence. NICS provides leadership-class high-performance computing resources, facilities, and support to scientists and researchers worldwide, as well as support for UT faculty, students, and ORNL staff. Its mission is to facilitate transformational scientific discoveries and enable breakthroughs in grand challenge problems using computational and data science and engineering.
