GR3N

GR3N is a Lugano-based CleanTech company that has developed a patented technology called MADE (Microwave Assisted DEpolymerisation) for chemical recycling of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) plastics and fibres. Their technology is designed to process 100% of PET waste, including textile fibers, films, and colored resins, which are not effectively handled by traditional mechanical recycling methods. GR3N's process claims to reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 80% compared to virgin PET and produces food-grade monomers that can be recycled infinitely without loss of performance. The company is focused on accelerating the construction of MODUS, its first industrial-scale plant in Spain, to address the growing demand for recycled PET driven by regulations and brand commitments.
