CogniFiber was established by a cross-disciplinary group of entrepreneur-scientists that came together in 2018 to reinvent computation and revolutionize the data processing industry. Coming from leading academic institutions and science-driven technological companies, we share the single goal of creating an unparalleled standard of data processing that can finally fulfill the promise of AI and introduce a new reality. CogniFiber created an in-fiber computing system that biomimicks the brain’s computational efficiency but does so at a photonic speed. Through a series of POCs the power of pure-photonic computing has proven to outperform the most advanced processors in every way and is expected to reach performance and energy efficiency X1000 better than any other processor. This super-scalable supercomputer can finally enable AI’s true power to be used for life-altering and life-saving applications.
