Brilliance is an Enschede-based startup that develops and manufactures miniature photonic laser chips for Augmented Reality (AR) applications. Their technology utilizes a patented silicon nitride-based photonic integrated circuit (PIC) platform with built-in laser technology to create compact, energy-efficient, and bright AR projectors. This addresses key hardware challenges in AR glasses and cars, enabling all-day battery life, enhanced brightness for outdoor use, and a maximized Field of View for immersive AR experiences.
