He is the former CEO & Co-Founder of Nerdist Industries, a multi-platform creator of genre and popular-culture content as well as the former Co-President of Digital Strategy at Legendary Entertainment. Nerdist Industries was acquired by Legendary Entertainment in July of 2012. Levin serves the Board of Directors of N3TWORK and Next Games. He also serves on the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission Board of Directors and as an advisor to Japanese media juggernaut Yoshimoto Kogyo. He also is an investor in and former Chairman of Immortals Gaming Club and is an investor in the Championship League football club Swansea City. Previously, Levin was founder and co-owner of the 2006 World Champion Chicago Rush of the Arena Football League. He was also a minority partner in and strategic advisor to Strikeforce, a mixed martial arts promotional entity, that sold to the Ultimate Fighting Championship in 2011. In June 2009, Levin served as the exclusive representative of Nikki Finke’s Deadline.com in its sale to PMC. Levin is the founder of Course of the Force, an annual Olympic torch-style lightsaber relay in partnership with Lucasfilm that led up to San Diego Comic Con International and benefitted the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Levin also co-teaches an esports class at the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and serves on the Board of Governors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

It is important for me to know that others can look to me with confidence that I will do my best across all endeavors. I expect others in my organization to lead by example as well. “Do as I say not as I do” does not cut it. 2. Always be learning and pushing myself. I try never to become complacent or too comfortable. I challenge all our employees to continually learn and seek to improve. 3. Take risks and push beyond your comfort levels. If you find yourself too comfortable in your role, and there is no longer any challenge, it’s time to move on. Raise your hand and ask for something new. I like to lead people who are hungry, humble, and smart. Hungry because they are always striving to be better Humble because they know they can’t do it alone and can work with a team Smart because I want to work with people who can teach me to be better The world is transforming around us in every way. It is hard to predict what will happen and we often can’t control where the changes will come from. But what we can control and what we can predict is how we are going to respond. It is an exciting time for organizations of all sizes as change brings opportunity.
