Oren Katzir

I am a PHD candidate in Tel-Aviv University under the joint supervision of Prof. Daniel Cohen-Or and Prof. Dani Lischinski. My main research deals with deep neural networks and generative adversarial networks ( both in 2D and 3D). My B.Sc. (cum laude) and M.Sc are in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, where I focused on image processing under the supervision of Prof. Guy Gilboa. I have an extensive management and hands-on experience, both as a software developer and computer vision researcher and as a team leader and a CTO of a small startup. In addition, I have focused on deep learning algorithms for multiple applications as a researcher for the Beijing Film Academy (BFA), (domain adaption, 3D texture synthesis, etc.). I am motivated by hard academic problems with real application need.
