David Schapiro

A visionary and veteran Director and CEO with over 35 years’ experience with data analytics and Insurtech companies. David is well versed in leading and growing enterprise SaaS companies including Earnix and ClickSoftware (acquired by Salesforce $1.35B in 2019). David is a Co-Founder of Planck - a provider of AI based data analytics for insurance; a Director at Ahoy! Insurance - a recreational marine insurer; and Advisor to Quantee - provider of AI-based dynamic insurance pricing; Herald - Digital infrastructure for commercial insurance; Sayata - streamlining the quote-bind-issue process for commercial insurance brokers and carriers; and HCS Capital – an investment firm focusing on fintech, insurtech and cyber. From 2017-2023 David held board positions at ManyPets, a global pet insurer headquartered in the UK, including non-executive Director (2017-2023), Chairman of Audit and Risk Committee (2020-2023) and Chairman of the Many Insurance Company (2022-2023). From 2006-2017 David was the CEO of Earnix, a provider of analytical SaaS for the Financial Services. David led Earnix from a small startup to becoming one of the leading analytical Insurtech players providing value to many of the top global financial institutions. Prior to this David served as Executive Vice President of Markets and Products at ClickSoftware, where he was a key factor in driving the company from its founding, through its IPO and becoming the leading provider of service optimization solutions. Earlier, David held management and development positions at Applied Materials (NASDAQ: AMAT), Scitex, and Control Data Corporation. David holds an MSc. in computer science from Bar Ilan University and a BSc. in mathematics and computer science from Tel Aviv University.
