Snapchat is making it easier for advertisers to feed their first-party data directly into the platform. The company's Conversions API (CAPI) is now listed on Databricks Marketplace, enabling businesses to send web, app, and offline conversion signals from their Databricks Lakehouse environment.
Historically, connecting disparate data sources to ad platforms like Snapchat involved complex stitching of CDPs, reverse ETL tools, and custom connectors. This often introduced latency, cost, and operational overhead. The new integration aims to streamline this process.
Direct Server-Side Data Activation
The integration provides a pre-built notebook that connects first-party data stored in Databricks' "gold-layer" tables directly to Snapchat's CAPI. This eliminates the need for middleware or custom API development.
