What will you contribute? 

As the Regional Director, Account Management, Europe, you will lead a high-performing team of Account Managers responsible for strengthening and growing Finastra's relationships with existing customers across the region.

This is a strategic leadership role that combines responsibility for leading and developing a team of Account Managers with direct management of a select portfolio of Finastra's most strategic customer relationships. You will drive customer retention, renewals, account growth, and long-term customer success across Finastra's installed customer base while actively engaging with senior stakeholders at some of Europe's largest financial institutions.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers responsible for the retention, growth, and strategic management of Finastra's customer portfolio across Europe.

  • Define and execute regional account management strategies that drive renewals, customer satisfaction, product adoption, and revenue expansion.

  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key customer stakeholders, positioning Finastra as a trusted strategic partner.

  • Drive rigorous account planning and customer engagement to identify growth opportunities and mitigate commercial risk.

  • Partner closely with Customer Success, Product, Services, Support, and Sales teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes and maximize account value.

  • Oversee regional forecasting, renewal performance, account health, and expansion pipeline management.

  • Support complex commercial discussions, customer escalations, and strategic initiatives across key accounts.

  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on customer advocacy, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent while providing ongoing coaching, performance management, and career development.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Significant experience leading enterprise Account Management teams within FinTech, SaaS, or financial services technology.

  • A strong network and understanding of the European banking landscape.

  • Domain knowledge in Lending solutions highly preferred

  • A proven ability to grow revenue within existing customer portfolios through strategic relationship management and value-based engagement.

  • Experience partnering with executive stakeholders at major financial institutions and serving as a trusted advisor.

  • Strong commercial acumen combined with a customer-first mindset.

  • A passion for coaching, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams.

  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with operational excellence in a fast-paced, global environment.
