How the similarity score is built
Most job boards sort by recency. Team Fit ranks by whether a small team is likely to hire you. The hire likelihood mixes role fit (your headline vs the posting) with a team similarity score (your bio vs founders and teammates we already track).
1. Paste your LinkedIn profile
Use a public /in/ URL. We read name, headline, and bio so role fit can be scored against live job descriptions.
2. We scan small-team openings
Only startups with 15 people or fewer and at least one live role. Similarity scoring matters most when the team is small enough that every hire sits next to the founders.
3. Get a hire likelihood and similarity score
Each role gets a role-fit score, a team similarity score from titles and bios, and an optional visual similarity score if you consent to a one-time photo compare.

What are team fit jobs?
Team fit jobs are openings ranked by how well you match the people already on a small team, not only the job description. StartupHub scores live roles at startups with 15 people or fewer using role fit plus a team similarity score.
What is a similarity score?
The team similarity score is 0 to 100. It compares your LinkedIn headline and bio with public titles and bios of founders and teammates. A higher score means your background reads like people already on that team.
Is the visual scan stored?
No. If you opt in, the photo is processed in memory for that scan, compared to public team photos, then discarded. There is no biometric database and employers never see the image.
Do I need to sign in?
Yes. Team Fit is a signed-in tool, capped at 2 scans a day on the free plan. Paid plans raise the daily cap and unlock the full ranked list.
How is this different from a normal job board?
The jobs board lists every live role we track. Team Fit is a matcher: it only ranks small-team startups and orders them by hire likelihood, a mix of role fit and team similarity score.
Which LinkedIn URLs work?
Public profile links that include /in/your-handle. Company pages and logged-in-only profiles cannot be read.
