Upon completion, this role is expected to transition to the standalone Universal Banking business, creating opportunities to support its future growth and success.
Role overview
As a Junior Sales Executive, you will be part of the Sales organization (reporting to Regional MDs) in the Universal Banking Business Unit, which serves some of the largest and most complex financial organizations in the world.
You will play a key role in driving revenue growth by managing and expanding relationships with existing clients within your assigned territory. You will work closely with customers to understand their business objectives and challenges, identify opportunities to deliver additional value through Finastra's solutions and services, and support the achievement of assigned revenue targets.
While mentored by the Sales Leadership team, you will develop strong customer relationships, engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives, and contribute to the long-term success and retention of client accounts.
Responsible for account management of customers through key stages of their journey, ensuring mutually beneficial relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned customer accounts and develop account plans to support revenue growth and customer success.
- Engage proactively and regularly with customers, including on-site visits, to build strong relationships and understand their business drivers and challenges.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, communicating strategic plans and status updates.
- Identify and drive opportunities within existing accounts, including service engagements, upsell opportunities, renewals, and contract optimization.
- Analyze clients' business needs and challenges to develop appropriate account strategies and solution recommendations.
- Collaborate across all functions to manage customer opportunities, including services, upsells, renewals, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate account and forecasting data in CRM systems.
- Coordinate internal resources to ensure prompt, accurate, and professional delivery of sales, marketing, and proposal materials to customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry and professional organizations.
- Stay abreast of current industry trends, competitors, and company products and services.
- Participate in training programs as directed by manager.
Experience:
Demonstrated track record of generating pipeline with a history of exceeding targets
Experience working with Finastra products preferred.
CRM tool experience preferred.
B2B Sales and/or Account Management experience a plus.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
