RealWear Acquires Swiss AR Leader Almer Technologies

RealWear, a provider of wearable computing for industrial use, has acquired Almer Technologies, a Swiss company known for compact, user-friendly AR headsets. Supported by TeamViewer, the global leader in enterprise AR software, this acquisition is poised to accelerate AR adoption across industrial sectors, boosting productivity for frontline workers.

With industries increasingly adopting digital tools to improve efficiency and safety, demand for wearable AR technology is on the rise. The acquisition brings together RealWear's established rugged solutions and Almer’s innovative AR headsets in a new offering tailored to the needs of frontline workers.
