Autonomys x Secret Network: Powering Privacy-Preserving Super dApps and Agents

Autonomys has partnered with Secret Network to integrate decentralized confidential computing (DeCC) into the Autonomys Network. This collaboration is designed to empower developers to create privacy-preserving AI-powered decentralized applications (dApps), or super dApps, and on-chain agents. DeCC leverages Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) technology from Secret Network to ensure all data inputs, outputs, and model states remain private while still being auditable. This allows developers to build these super dApps with improved speed, cost-efficiency, and scalability compared to traditional confidential computing networks.

Autonomys’ Auto SDK further simplifies the development process by offering integration with distributed storage, decentralized consensus mechanisms, and upcoming features like decoupled execution environments and self-sovereign identity frameworks. The partnership also supports both WASM and EVM execution environments, while exploring a direct Layer-1 connection to boost efficiency. Moreover, by linking Secret Network’s DeCC GPU infrastructure (Claive) with Autonomys’ distributed storage network (DSN), developers can train AI models on encrypted data, enabling the development of advanced privacy-preserving AI models and super dApps.

“At Secret Network, we are committed to driving the future of privacy-preserving technology, and our partnership with Autonomys represents a pivotal step toward that vision," commented Lisa Loud, Executive Director of Secret Foundation. "By merging Secret's Decentralized Confidential Computing with Autonomys' advanced AI infrastructure, we are unlocking a new era for on-chain AI. This collaboration will empower developers to create autonomous, confidential AI applications that prioritize user privacy while enhancing functionality and scalability. With Claive as the catalyst, we are setting the stage for a future where AI-driven dApps are not only more powerful but also more privacy-centric.”

Finally, the partnership allows the development of confidential AI agents via cross-chain communication while preserving end-to-end confidentiality. Autonomys’ infrastructure provides the necessary throughput and execution capabilities, while Secret Network ensures data privacy by design.

“Secret Network bringing confidentiality to the Autonomys Network is pivotal to our construction of the AI3.0 ecosystem," said Parth Birla, Head of Partnerships at Autonomys. "Secret’s privacy-preserving technology will soon enable web3 developers and normal users alike to build private, personal on-chain agents that run unstoppably on decentralized architecture.”
