The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), with participation from Lakestar and executives from major tech firms. This significant AI startup funding positions Pit to challenge the status quo of fragmented business software.

Founded by veterans of Voi and Klarna, Pit operates as an "AI product team as a service." It learns a company's specific workflows and builds custom, production-grade software to run its operations.

The company targets the persistent inefficiency in enterprise operations, often reliant on outdated spreadsheets, inboxes, and rigid SaaS tools. Despite massive digital transformation investments, many workflows remain manual and difficult to adapt.
