Trunk Tools, an artificial intelligence-powered platform for field construction, announced a $40 million Series B funding round on July 24, 2025. Insight Partners led this investment. Redpoint Ventures, Innovation Endeavors, Stepstone, Liberty Mutual Strategic Ventures, and Prudence also participated in the round.

The New York City-based startup develops an AI platform that organizes and provides insights from millions of construction documents. This platform allows building teams to ask natural-language questions, receiving actionable answers from relevant project data. Furthermore, Trunk Tools offers autonomous agents to automate tasks, streamlining workflows that previously required human intervention for information tracking and communication. Scaling AI Construction Capabilities

This new investment brings Trunk Tools' total funding to $70 million. The capital will support the expansion of engineering, product, and go-to-market teams. Additionally, the company plans to grow its field enablement program. This funding also enables the platform to scale its capabilities across increasingly complex projects and new markets, addressing construction sector productivity.
