IdentifAI Raises €5M to Combat Deepfakes, Expands Globally

IdentifAI, an Italian cybersecurity platform, secured €5 million in growth funding. United Ventures led the round. This investment will fuel international expansion and enhance its deepfake detection technology.

Founded in 2024 by cybersecurity experts Marco Ramilli and Marco Castaldo, IdentifAI develops an AI platform. This platform accurately determines if content, including images, videos, or voice recordings, is AI-generated or human-created. Notably, the company previously raised a €2.2 million Seed round.

Global Expansion to Combat Disinformation

The new capital supports IdentifAI's entry into key European and US markets. Furthermore, it accelerates research and development efforts to continuously perfect the accuracy and performance of its deepfake detection models. Consequently, the company aims for global reach, protecting truth universally.
