German EdTech paddy Secures €1M Pre-Seed for AI Platform

DigitalErleben GmbH, operating as the paddy AI platform, secured €1 million in pre-Seed financing. High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) led the round. The Bielefeld-based EdTech startup launched its platform in January 2025.

The paddy AI platform assists teachers in the DACH region. It streamlines lesson planning, generates tailored teaching materials, and offers digital delivery tools. Consequently, teachers often face significant administrative burdens and large class sizes.

Advancing Classroom AI Innovation

This platform aims to save teachers time, enabling more personalized student support. Furthermore, it analyzes class performance, providing insights for educators. The paddy AI platform has attracted over 12,000 active teacher users within six months of its launch.

The company addresses a critical need for pragmatic solutions in education, where teacher overload remains a core challenge. Other digital learning platforms like Kahoot! and ClassDojo also support classroom activities. Moreover, paddy expects to achieve mid six-figure revenue by year-end.
