Euler has raised €2 million in seed funding. The Icelandic startup will scale its AI software for industrial 3D printing. The funding round was co-led by Frumtak Ventures and Kvanted.
Industrial 3D printing often suffers from reliability issues. Print failures can lead to significant waste and high costs, limiting adoption in sectors like aerospace. Euler's software addresses this problem directly. The platform uses artificial intelligence for real-time monitoring of the printing process. It analyzes data from a printer's built-in cameras to predict and flag defects before they occur. This technology enhances fault detection for laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) and selective laser sintering (SLS) systems without requiring extra hardware. A case study with the Danish Technological Institute reported a 77 percent reduction in time spent on failed builds. It also showed a revenue increase of over 20 percent through better equipment effectiveness. The company will use the investment to expand its team, accelerate platform rollout, and scale product development.
