enaDyne Secures €7M Seed for Plasma Reactors Tackling Forever Chemicals

Leipzig-based enaDyne raised €7 million in Seed funding. The startup develops fully-electric, non-thermal plasma catalysis technology for sustainable chemical production. Amadeus APEX Technology Fund and Energy Capital Ventures co-led the round.

enaDyne's reactor technology converts CO₂ and other process gases into valuable chemicals. Its modular systems also abate hard-to-treat emissions, including CF₄ and forever chemicals like PFAS. This approach offers a sustainable alternative to traditional chemical manufacturing.

The company integrates proprietary enaCeramics electrodes with plasma-active catalysts for improved performance. Current results show CO₂ conversion rates exceeding 70% with competitive selectivities. Modular architecture allows rapid deployment and scaling across industrial applications.

The fresh capital will fund a 20-foot modular pilot plant deployment by mid-2026. enaDyne also plans to develop a first commercial product for plasma-based PFAS abatement. Establishing a scalable production value chain is another key objective.
