ChatGPT Work Unveils GPT-5.6

OpenAI has introduced ChatGPT Work, an agent designed to manage ambitious tasks by interacting across user applications and files. This new iteration, powered by the latest GPT-5.6 frontier model, aims to transform multi-step goals into finished work, operating on projects for hours if necessary.

Desktop and Web Integration

The updated ChatGPT desktop app now integrates Chat, Work, and Codex, extending functionality to local files and applications.
