Amazon unveiled five Alexa devices starting at $99.99, led by a 16-inch Echo Show 16 starting at $499.99, the company said.
Echo Dot ships today for $99.99. Echo Studio with Home Camera ships today for $249.99. Echo Studio without camera costs $219.99.
Echo Time ships today for $199.99. Amazon Kids Echo Time starts at $209.99. Echo Show 16 is available for preorder today at $499.99, or $569.99 for Nanomatte, with $100 off at launch.
Before this lineup, Amazon rolled out its latest Alexa to hundreds of millions of customers. The company said those customers talk to Alexa two to three times more and make more complex requests. Alexa+ is included with Prime membership for certain features.
Amazon built each device for a specific moment. Echo Dot adds a built-in smart home hub and eero extender for 1,000 square feet of coverage. It runs on AZ3 silicon with a new AI Accelerator. Echo Studio with Home Camera adds visual intelligence and continuous room tuning with Advanced Room Adaptation.
Alexa Photo Frame is the first frame with Alexa built in, with a 10-inch anti-glare touchscreen. It syncs to Amazon Photos and surfaces shots by person, pet or season. The frame uses soft-white matting and real wood trim to look like a traditional frame, per Engadget.
Echo Time brings a camera-free clock with hundreds of faces and Omnisense sleep sensing. It wakes users within 10 to 60 minutes of the alarm during lighter sleep. Echo Show 16 is 40% thinner with 10% more viewing area and Fire TV built in. Nanomatte cuts glare by more than 90%.
Echo Studio with Home Camera will soon pair with compatible Fire TVs for big-screen video calling, Amazon said. Echo Show 16 preorder with $100 off is live now and Dot, Studio with Home Camera and Time ship today.
