Magnax

Magnax is a Kortrijk-based DeepTech company that develops and commercializes patented yokeless axial flux electric motor technology. This technology offers higher power density, greater range, lighter motors, and more compact sizes compared to traditional radial flux motors. Magnax's technology is applicable in electric vehicles, industrial drives, machinery automation, robotics, and aerospace. The company valorizes its technology through spin-off companies: Traxial for ground e-mobility and Axyal for aerospace propulsion systems. Magnax plans to industrialize its motor portfolio and support high-volume production, with R&D remaining in Belgium and high-volume production in China through a partnership with Foxconn Group.
