ERC-8004

ERC-8004 is an Ethereum Improvement Proposal that defines a protocol for discovering and establishing trust in AI agents across organizational boundaries. It introduces three on-chain registries for agent identity, reputation, and validation, facilitating open-ended agent economies where trust models are pluggable and tiered. This enables secure interaction with agents for tasks ranging from low-stake to high-stake, utilizing various trust mechanisms like reputation systems, stake-secured re-execution, and zero-knowledge proofs.
