Defence Builder Ecosystem

Defence Builder Ecosystem is an initiative focused on enabling Ukrainian defence and dual-use companies to transition from research and development and pilot stages to full-scale production and deployment. It aims to bridge the gap in financing needed to fulfill existing demand, moving beyond traditional venture capital to encompass working capital facilities, receivables financing, order-backed lending, export credit mechanisms, and insurance solutions. The organization emphasizes the need for financial instruments that align with the speed of wartime procurement and supports integration into European procurement frameworks, co-production, and clearer long-term demand.
