Wtf is OpenAI doing. It wasn't like this last month.

over the removal of GPT-4o.

I was confused when I first started to use it too but now I've got a pretty good handle on it now. I am a heavy AI user. Build all kinds of crap with it, done some really unique out of the box.

So far I'm happy with it. It's got some of my tasks down from 8 hours to 1 hour.

Exactly so. All of this is about platform lock-in. My experience playing with dot was amazingly frustrating - I can see using it for abstract conversation or I guess burning astra token to write emails or something.

My services were auto integrated so idk if they got updated shortly after. Also I believe this was geared towards less technical codex users as my nontechnical test subject found it very helpful and usable.

As someone in the EU, I expected to at least not have less. Now they’ve halved our usage, but we get nothing in return. Good excuse to fully switch over to Claude.
