We’re pretty loyal to BuilderTrend but this is def interesting
We looked at Buildertrend too, but realized our biggest was keeping our estimating workflow organized. but when we used Shackleton, our estimates, revisions, RFIs, and scope notes connected has made preconstruction much easier.
Procore quoted me something insane for our volume, and the cheaper ones like Buildertrend feel more aimed at home builders than commercial work.
I’m a small business contractor, 500 dollars a year is outrageous, I think 80 dollars for me would be acceptable, even 100 dollars would not be possible for me, good luck!
Told me it’d be around 8 grand a year for my small contracting business, under 500k gross a year
Buildertrend advance would fit the bill but not trying to spend $800 a month. I don’t make enough for that.
We also run Buildertrend but we haven’t started using it for invoicing yet and they told me they were around 1% also. Anyone have a better strategy for lowering these fees other than using paper checks? Do I need to stack another app on som…
We’re currently on Buildertrend, but not totally happy with it. Our renewal is coming up soon, so I’m exploring other options. ... Buildertrend has been okay, but it feels a bit more geared towards residential/remodelers than what we’re doi…
I have used ConstructConnect and BuilderTrend in the past. Not a fan of ConstructConnect, however, might be going back to it if we cant find anything better. Not interested in using BT since we use PC, however, the PC bidding tool is not wo…
Co construct, Procore and Buildertrend seem to be too intense or too inflexible. Any thoughts on Job tread vs Contractor Foreman
I just started using BT and I’ll say it’s amazing.
I'm in my early 20s just starting out providing home improvement services. What apps/software would you recommend? Also, what are some of the pros and cons of some of the most popular apps/software such as Joist, Buildertrend, Jobber, etc.…
I worked for some creep fake construction guy in Newport, Rhode Island, who was probably a CIA agent, and then he gave my number to stupid Buildertrend, they've been calling me ever since! Makes me wonder about that company.
We've been using Buildertrend for a few years and it's been okay, but lately we've been frustrated with issues for a while now, especially on the financial tracking side of things.
Hi, Anyone who uses Buildertrend / Co-construct on their project. Could you share your thoughts with me? We are going to try it as for some of our projects. Thanks.
hi jesse the video was good , i plan to buy builder trend software soon for my company
Great video - keep them coming. I tried builder trend a while back and felt there was too much red tape but after seeing this video I think I will give it another run especially now that the company has grown.
Constant changes
The app/desk top full site version are in constant change. Every time you get used to a new change some IT person has to justify their existence and create an extra step or move a box to the other side of the screen all in the name of makin…
Wish i could give it 4 or 5 stars
We use BT for sharing job status (daily logs), time tracking, planning and scheduling. As the owner of the construction company, the price to value has diminished as BT gave us notice of a 50% price increase this year with a very short warn…
Temu version of Pro-Core
This app constantly has issues. Especially when it comes to uploading. If you want to upload something, make sure you have nothing else going on because you cannot leave the upload page even to answer a phone call without everything deletin…
WASTE OF TIME
This app is a good idea however, it is not worth the money at this time. To add to that, the customer service is horrible. We tried this product out two years ago and then after some time spent trying to learn it, decided it was too much of…
Sales tax
As of 2022, BuilderTREND does not have sales tax on their platform, and a proper system for credits they talk with QuickBooks needs considerable polishing and overhaul. That application is also complicated since the last update to create es…
Game changing platform!
We started using builder trend in 2014. It has profoundly changed out business approach for the better. We do high end custom Home building in remodeling work. It keeps our project organized, subcontractors in the loop, and our clients info…
Love it!!
Over the last 6 months I have trialed every conceivable Project Management tool. Some are OK, but leave out the most important parts that are needed desperately. Also, some are like playing concentration game and have dark rabbit holes. Thi…
Almost Perfect
It has a lot going for it, but the one area that needs to be tweaked is the email functions. I would like to be able to send emails without the formatting that BuilderTrend applies. Also it would be nice if the emails that are sent through…
Extensive platform with unrivaled customer support
My company has been using Buildertrend for just over a year now and the results are astounding. Many tasks that had to be done using multiple platforms can now be done using one platform. The ability for customers to have their own project…
Great for Remodel Contractors
I’m a design/remodel contractor in the DFW metroplex. We were in need of an app that would help us manage jobs and keep everything to one platform. We also needed a way to save time for the project managers from driving around so much. BT w…
