Assured Robot Intelligence (ARI) was a frontier AI robotics startup that built foundation models for humanoid robots, enabling them to perform physical labor such as household chores and adapt to complex, dynamic human environments. Co-founded by Xiaolong Wang (ex-Nvidia researcher and UC San Diego professor) and Lerrel Pinto (ex-NYU faculty and co-founder of Fauna Robotics), the company developed e-Flesh tactile sensor technology and had employees based in San Diego and New York.
