I am the director of the Alexander Grass Center for Bioengineering at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a visiting professor at Harvard Medical School. I am the founder and academic director of the Israeli BioDesign medical innovation program. My academic work focuses on the establishment of sensor-integrated microscale tissues as cornerstones of the next generation human-on-chip technology. I have a special interest in tracking and controlling metabolic processes that control developmental processes, metabolic disease and drug toxicity.
