Shahar Botzer

We invest in software centric technologies that solve the world’s biggest problems for People and the planet; Future of work, Digital Health, Education, Energy, Circular Economy and Agriculture. Between 2014 and 2020 i was the Managing Partner at 2B.VC, one of Israels first and leading Impact venture capital funds. As Managing Partner I led investments and was a board member in 10 portfolio companies, and Co-founded 2B-Hub, a shared work space for ‘tech for good’ startups. ‎‏Before joining 2B, I held various positions in the business and social sectors. I was the Chairman at Issta Lines- a publicly traded holding company (valued at 250~ million dollars); the chairman at Walla Tours (an Online travel agency); the Executive Chairman at JobTov (Placement and Outsource company); the CEO of the Israeli Actors Guild; and the Chairman of the Students Union at Tel-Aviv University. ‎‏‎‏I studied for a BA in Economics and Accounting at the Tel Aviv University, and in the Impact Investing Program at Oxford University. In 2017 I was listed in ‘Globes’ (the Israeli Financial Magazine) as one of Israel’s Under 40 most promising business leaders. ‎‏I am married to Miri, a social worker, and together we are the proud parents of four wonderful kids. At the age of 13, I initiated the Botzer High Court of Justice Bill 7081/93 – a petition for Disabled Citizens Rights and Accessibility in Public Places.
