Sandiip Bhammer

Most recently, Mr. Sandiip M Bhammer served as the Portfolio Manager of the South-Asia Investment Fund (“SAIF”) at DA Capital LLC. Before DA Capital, Sandiip spearheaded Balyasny Asset Management's (B.A.M.) investment efforts in South-Asia from 2007 onwards as the Managing Director of B.A.M.’s India office, and prior to that, he was an Asia-focused Portfolio Mgr in B.A.M.'s NYC office and at Amaranth Advisors in Greenwich (USA)/Singapore, where he was responsible for investing and monitoring Amaranth's investment capital into the Asia Pacific region across the capital structure. Prior to moving to the "buy side", Sandiip held senior roles on the “sell side” at Citigroup Global Equities, HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. and CLSA (USA) Inc. respectively. Sandiip has served on the Boards of several listed as well as non-listed companies in South Asia, particularly, India and on the Advisory Boards of several startups within Asia as well as the USA. Sandiip is a CFA level III candidate and his professional memberships include the New York Society of Security Analysts, the CFA Institute and the All India Management Association ("AIMA"). He also served as the President of the S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Business (of Cornell University) Alumni Association for India for a period of 9 years and is, currently, an Advisory Board Member of the Emerging Markets Institute ("EMI") at the Cornell College of Business.
