I started out as a backend software developer in a small company. Later on I wanted to experience the full spectrum of development by creating something of my own so I teamed up with a friend and became the CTO of SensoPark. A year and a half later, I wanted to integrate my technical skills with my managerial skills so I became a full stack development team leader of 2 different teams. This is where I got to experience on-hands development of all varieties, manage and nurture my employees and be closer to the product and decision making - which later became a part of my actual job as I took on the role of the product manager. Although versatile and fulfilling, I didn’t feel that I was having a real impact on a global scale. So when the opportunity presented itself to become a co-founder of MDI where I could incorporate my technical skills, product knowledge and experience and be a part of the creation of this amazing platform which literally saves lives - it was a perfect fit.

During my time as a personal injury lawyer, I analyzed thousands of medical records for the purpose of evaluating claims cost, benefits worth, length of liability period, and forecasting the medical effect of the injury. Access to data is central to risk management. The more you know, the lower the risk. I was obsessed with finding a better way to evaluate and summarize medical information for underwriting and claim analysis. In 2018, my brother Amit who is an artificial intelligence expert, and I decided to build a company that will use AI and Natural Language Processing to understand any kind of medical record (APS, EHR, EMR, etc.) and to extract all the medical information into a meaningful report. The extracted information is presented chronologically, allowing users to search and filter by condition, date, body part, body system, and provider. It has been our privilege to build such an awesome company with such a talented team as DigitalOwl. DigitalOwl is a graduate of the Israel Security Agency and Tel Aviv University’s The Xcelerator, the prestigious Fusion LA Accelerator, the unique Deloitte LaunchPad program, IBM Alfa Zone program, and the world’s largest InsurTech program Plug and Play.
