Since 2000 I have been the healthcare partner of Evergreen. I invested in Colbar and served as its chairperson. Colbar was acquired by J&J. I was a board member at Peer-medical merged with Endochoice and acquired by Boston Scientific, in Activiews, acquired by Striker and in many more. Since 2013 I manage my private investment vehicle, EthosVentures, which is active in early stage healthcare initiatives. I'm a board member at BiondBio, Reddress, observer at 3NT Medical and an advisory board member at Genoox. Additional investments of EthosVentures are Laminate, BodyVision and EZbra. I'm highly committed to promote the Israeli health care industry and specifically interested in the commercialization process of technologies out of the research labs in the academy, in the development of new startups in the field and in the education of managers for the Biomed industry. Therefore, I teach “Financing of Biomed Startups” in the MBA program of school of business administration of the Hebrew University (HU), Jerusalem and “Introduction to Biomedical Entrepreneurship” in medical school in HU as well. I was an adviser to former Chief Scientists at the Israeli Ministry of Industry and Trade on biotechnology issues. In 2000, on behalf of the chief scientist I headed the Monitor Survey of the Israeli Biotechnology which identified the major bottle-necks in the development of BioTech industry in Israel. Many of the recommendations were adapted by the government, others are still relevant today. Prior to joining Evergreen, I served as an executive in the Israeli (Interpharm, Pharmos) and global pharma industry (Serono) and was deeply involved in bringing new drugs to the market such as Rebif for multiple Sclerosis, Lotemax for treatment of the eye and others. I am a director at Ichilov Tech, of Sourasky medical Center in Tel Aviv and a member of the investment committee of the food tech incubator, The Kitchen, of Strauss. I Initiated the biomed day in the ILANIT conference 2017 and 2020. I hold a Ph.D in molecular and cellular biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science.
