Oren Oz

Oren Oz is the Founder of Nuvo™, an emerging leader in maternal-fetal connected health. Nuvo™ is committed to reinventing Pregnancy Care for the 21st century with new technology, tools, and practices to improve multi-stakeholder outcomes and “give life a better beginning”. Behind that mission statement, Oren led the creation of INVU™, a remote monitoring platform, combining proprietary hardware, cloud-based software and AI tools to optimize the pregnancy care experience on a global scale. Oren led the company as CEO from its inception until late 2021, from the ideation of INVU, through an intensive multi-disciplinary R&D process, global IP protection, clinical validation, two FDA approvals, production, fund raising (over $70mm) and the creation of global network of collaborators – KOLs, advisors, research organizations, commercial partners and customers. Due to the breakthrough technology and pioneering science that underpins the INVU platform , Nuvo has been awarded multiple grants and industry recognition including: support of the Israel Innovation Authority (Office of the Chief Scientist); named twice (2020, 2022) by CB Insights Digital Health 150 - the list of Most Innovative Digital Health Startups globally; named in MedTech Innovation Top 50; and listed in ‘Next Big Thing in Tech’ 2021 by Fast Company. In 2020, Oren was invited to join the Challenge Leadership Group for MIT Solve Maternal & Newborn Health Challenge, that looks for technology-based solutions that promote the health and wellbeing of women, new mothers, and newborns everywhere. Prior to founding Nuvo™, Oren started and led a variety of entrepreneurial ventures, primarily in the technology space. He served in the Israeli Air‐Force Intelligence for 5 years and holds a B.Sc. with honors in Computer Science from Ben‐Gurion University.
