Dr. Nissan has rich leadership experience with R&D and clinical teams in pharmaceutical and agro companies. Olga used to lead the R&D and business aspects; commenced collaborations with academia and commercial companies, including strategic partnerships with VCs and accelerators. Microbiology: Developing and validating QC protocols for Pharmaceutical companies. Protocol development for existing and new pharmaceutical products according to GMP/GLP standards. MDR writing and manufacture/laboratory investigation management. Fermentation processes: Anaerobic and aerobic batch fermentations. Developing fermentation setups for wild-type bacteria and working in an anaerobic chamber. Scale up process development for manufacturing. Molecular biology, protein production, and purification, biochemistry: Various PCR methods, cloning, and protein expression. Gene knockout and mutagenesis methods. Protein purification using FPLC (affinity chromatography, size exclusion, ion exchange). Biochemistry (including kinetics), analysis by GC-MS, ELISA. Massive comparative Mass-spectrometry: Analysis and normalization of proteomic data. RNA-sequencing: RNA purification, gene expression measurements, and analysis.
