Dr. Mikolaj Firlej is a deep tech investor, academic, and defence policy expert who co-founded Expeditions Fund in 2021, an early-stage European VC focused on dual-use and defence technology. He completed his D.Phil at Oxford University on autonomous weapons systems, has been a deep tech investor since 2016, and co-founded private investment firm Firlej Kastory. Expeditions Fund II raised €100M targeting €150M with backing from the NATO Innovation Fund.
