Founding investor in a number of successful technology and real estate ventures including Brilliant Digital Entertainment, Skype, Jerusalem Development Fund. Background - Established Ozisoft with Mark Dyne. We led a management buyout, with Sega Enterprises. Established Sega World amusement park, operated for Sega Enterprises Japan, Mitsubishi Corp. and Mitsui Corp. In 1996 I founded Brilliant Digital Entertainment Inc. which was granted 8 - 3D animation patents. The company developed internet interests including Kazaa, Altnet and Global File Registry. In 2001-2003 I managed global Kazaa litigation with Niklas Zennstrom and Janus Friis and became the angel investor in Skype. During 2008, BDE acquired Kinetech Inc. which now holds 13 patents under the Truenames portfolio. I am an active investor in Israeli real estate including in The Jerusalem Gardens Hotel, Nof Zion, a major residential project in South-East Jerusalem. I am a founder of www.Jerusalem5800.com a long term planning and research project for greater Jerusalem. I support numerous charitable organizations including The Hunger Project, United Israel Appeal, Jewish Care, UniOne Foundation, The Nelune Foundation and Jake's Ladder, a foundation for research into Cystic Fibrosis, The City of David and Binyan Adei Ad.
