WHAT I DO: Inspired by the advances and transformation that AI and deep learning technology can contribute to the logistics industry, I’m proud to be leading one of the most disruptive and innovative freight-tech companies in the market - Stargo. We help freight forwarders and carriers to structure and digitize their overwhelming amounts of price requests, buy-price, and booking request data to yield better margins and optimized routes. WHOM I WORK WITH: I partner with freight forwarders, domestic carriers, airline and shipping carriers, and customs brokers to help them use smarter technology to scale growth (through automated proposal creation) and increase productivity (by turning unstructured price requests, buy-price, and booking request data into structured and enhanced data). WHY STARGO WORKS: We’re trying to solve the legacy issues of manual, cumbersome labor within the freight industries’ routing, pricing and payments management. And we’re doing this by: ● Turning unstructured data into structured data. ● Calculating optimal pricing and route options using our proprietary AI pricing engine that helps our clients to win more deals. ● Auto-generating quotes and proposals at the click of a button, increasing your sales productivity by up to 60%. MY BACKGROUND: I’ve been in the trenches of the logistics industry for 20 years, working hard at bringing unique viewpoints and solutions to its legacy problems. Having led corporate processes at Symantec AA Middle East, Pittston BAX Group (operating through BAX Global) in Africa and Southeast Asia as well as serving as senior VP at Eagle Global Logistics and Brinks and founder of Global Intelligence Logistics Services (G-ILS), founding Stargo was the inevitable next step to solving even bigger problems. Based on my years of accumulated knowledge, I’m very humbled and proud to be a lecturer on a variety of topics including integrative management and the “Blue Sky” management theory. I’ve also been a guest speaker at top international IT conferences.
