Girish is an accomplished human being who is passionate about anything related to health and technology. His 20+ years of experience in medical technology solutions are complemented by an educational background of MS in computer science (Artificial Intelligence) and a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering (Medical Imaging & Data Analytics). His dynamic career path includes leadership roles in R&D, product strategy, clinical research, and marketing at Toshiba Medical, GE Healthcare, and Samsung Healthcare. He has deep experience in medical imaging and digital health solutions. His active areas of research and focus involve digital phenotyping for precision healthcare through the seamless integration of autonomous solutions and artificial intelligence technologies. When not trying to steal wifi bandwidth from his daughters (the new Normal), you will find him running at the same speed with which he works! Accomplishment Highlights: 1. Ideated and created a mental health solution platform delivered through a smartphone app to detect and monitor conditions such as depression, anxiety, stress, ADHD, etc. 2. Created a just-in-time solution for automated analysis of lung CT & X-Ray images to assess and triage COVID-19 patients. 3. Designed a machine learning and inference infrastructure for various diagnostic imaging applications (brain structure and function evaluation, whole-body screening, orthodontics, pathology detection) 4. Brought a brand new MRI solution to the market in 3 years 5. Delivered a comprehensive MRI diagnostic application software package in 18 months 6. Established partnerships with key-opinion clinical leaders and executed several clinical studies.
