Gil Smolinski

***** Gil is currently on sabbatical. ***** Gil Smolinski is an angel investor and business developer, entrepreneur and advisor with abundant experience in businesses around the world, as well as in Israeli startups. Smolinski began his career as a construction worker in 1993, and quickly rose up the ranks. He became manager, and by 1995 was already an independent contractor. In 1997 Smolinski entered the field of business-development in the former USSR. In this capacity he managed engineering projects in the fields of transportation and homeland security. He gathered experience and know-how with several business endeavors oversees, and in time starting advising and mentoring startups. Gil is also an avid tech investor. Specifically enthusiastic about the Israeli startup ecosystem, he has invested in several promising ventures so far, and functions as a mentor to the companies he takes under his wing.
