Eyal Kochavi

Eyal Kochavi is a highly-experienced medical device executive, with over 15 years of senior management experience in global companies and successful Israeli startups, specialized in the cryotherapy, GI and urology sector. Eyal is currently the Founder and CEO of Vessi Medical, an Israeli medical device startup developing a novel cryotherapy solution to treat bladder cancer. He leads the company through all stages of fundraising, R&D, business development and marketing. Eyal was previously the VP of Research and Development for Motus GI (NASDAQ: MOTS) developing a colon cleansing device. Prior to that, he held various senior R&D, project management and business development positions for the medical device companies: Given Imaging (now Medtronic), Nano Retina (ophthalmic implantable device) and Galil Medical (cryo-ablation therapy). Eyal holds an MBA, M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering and B.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, all Cum Laude. He also serves as a business and cryotherapy expert consultant for several medical startups. Eyal brings a highly multidisciplinary background with extensive experience in business strategy, planning, product life-cycle management, as well as building and leading cross-functional teams from the ground floor. He also has proven experience in working closely with customers and physicians worldwide to bring new products to market.
